Winner or Loser- Living the American Dream
When looking at success in American society, we are faced with the question of what constitutes "living the dream?" My sister lives in a mansion (no kidding, that is what it is called on her deed). I live in a modest house in the country. My sister-in-law's income as a RN doubles mine as a teacher with a Master's Degree. Where do I fall in the success arena? I thought about these things as I was preparing this blog assignment for you. (I will chime in with my thoughts once you all get on a roll.) I am interested in hearing what you think.
Before class please read the following articles & answer the following questions:
Sowing Failure & Reaping Success; What failure can teach
33 Differences Between Winners & Losers
1. How do you define a successful (winner) and a failure (loser)?
2. How do you handle failure?
3. What is something that you have succeeded at? How did you handle that success?
After you have posted your blog, please respond to two of your classmates' posts before the deadline.
